Sam Howell
#1
So not sure why its coming up now, but.....been reading and hearing a bunch of stuff about how Sam Howell was absolutely clueless with KOC's offense. Like even some 'reporters' like Zulgad could see Howell wasn't cutting it from almost the day he arrived in Minnesota. Pretty wild. Not a fit for the team at all. Rumor being this was more a KAM trade than anything KOC wanted. Interesting. Basically dead man walking at Eagan for a month before being traded.

So another black mark on KAMs resume. The guys throws draft picks around like he's trading penny stocks.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Didn’t we just move down 10 spots or something on a day 3 pick?  That’s hardy a commitment.

I'm not sweating the compensation. But you'd think if they guy can't learn a pro play-book, this would have been easily vetted b4 a trade. More often than not, I have trouble piecing together the puzzle that is KAM.

Players bust, it happens. Vikings took a low cost shot and it didn't work out, it happens.

Where i see positive growth is that as soon as it became clear howell wasn't the guy, the front office cut the cord and hit eject

Prior front offices would've waited 2 years.

As skeptical as I am of KAM, I cannot see him trading for a quarterback that KOC wasn't 100% on board for. I think it was just a miss by KOC. It didn't work out and they cut their losses. We could have picked up Wentz at any time

I tell you what, I sure am tired of teams having sack-fests against this offense under KOC

Thought Howell would be a decent backup, Wentz has not looked bad

He looks like a QB2 - no preacher reincarnate in 2025.

I expected us to take our lumps with essentially a rook QB. Bit if this team cant stay healthy?

Good news is there isn’t a QB controversy in MN.
