So next year lol

This team is cooked. We’re overblown on salary cap going into next year. Harry and Theilen retire. With Kelly’s concussion issues something needs to get done there?

I can’t imagine Jones is back on anything close to his current salary.

At least JJM will get plenty of reps when he’s healthy. We should have a decent draft pick if things keep going this way.

This has been my contention all along...this was not to be the Vikings' year.  This year was to set the groundwork for next year or the following year.  Here's to one or two successful free agent signings and drafts in the future.

This kind of season is why I don’t get excited over the Vikings anymore. It’s always, next year. They’re laying the groundwork every year for next year.
Salary cap issues were the problem, o line was the problem, d line was the problem. It never all comes together. It never will at this rate. The Wilf’s don’t know how to build a championship organization. I don’t think Kwesi does either. KOC, is good, sometimes, but gets stuck in his own head other times.
After 2017, I stopped expecting anything from the Vikings, and just appreciated the occasional very good season. A Super Bowl win won’t happen in my lifetime.
This isn’t because of this game, it’s just coming to the realization that the Vikings aren’t meant to be champions.

I'll joke about the Vikings curse, but I really dont believe it...

I kinda figured 9 wins was the floor this year and at 2/2 and a rook qb? I still think thats the case.

Frustrating game today, but I aint ready to throw the towel in at .500 and 13 games left to play Wink

A rookie at QB wasn’t going to win the Super Bowl. I don’t care how ready he is/was.

I just can’t get over how many OL injuries we have. It’s not like we didn’t try lol

Today was the result of hiring a GM with no experience. You can't keep throwing draft picks away. If it wasn't for Turner's stupid penalty, no one would have know he was in the game, not just a 1st rounder, but 3 valuable picks to move up for him. Injuries are part of the game, you have to build depth to overcome them and throwing away draft picks the way Kam does has done this team in.

I think we have the injury bug this year. today we had a chance  and everything went the steelers way except blocked fg.but if pace catches that ball I think it's a td return . Metcalf killed us early  but then we made adjustments .outside the injury I feel better as a viking fan  than a steelers  fan should feel about the win.

We have depth. We have somewhere around 18 OL out. As is our QB, RB, FB, 3rd TE on offense alone.

We do not have quality depth, backups need to be able to come in and step up, today the direct backups Skule, Turner and Jurgens were all awful, even Brandel has been poor.  Injuries can't be an excuse, you need to build a roster expecting that and you can't do that when you consistently throw away draft pick in addition to atrocious drafting,

Out of 4 drafts we have Addison as the only proven player, the two years before that, for all the grief Spelman took, we drafted two of the best players in the game right now in Jefferson and Darrisaw, no way Kwesi would have picked either guy.

I’d take Spielman back in a heartbeat but it’s not happening. Had he swallowed his pride and worked better with Zimmer he’d still be employed.

KOC is the right coach. I don’t think you get around KAM and keep KOC
