I get the sentiment, but you never know when you might strike lightning in a bottle with Wentz...Remember that bad neck injury Johnson got in 98? Opened the door for the preacher.
I'd bet some serious coin the offense looks better this week. We'll see if this ages well or not? I like Brosmer's upside, but we're in deeper shit if we're down to QB3 by game 3

I'd like to see JJ continue but if he can't go, next man up...

I would much prefer to see Brosmer, some may think Wentz has more experience, but if you think about recent game experience Wentz has thrown 43 passes over the past 2 seasons and had no training camp. Brosmer had more passes than that in pre season and at least has been playing full time in college. He has had a full training camp with us and knows the offense better. Don't think we have anything to lose, we know what we are going to get with Wentz which is a rusty QB who was questionable that he even wanted to play this year.

Brosmer is a rookie. Teams are loading the box and sending pressure at JJ while KOC calls more deep passes. I would rather Wentz get in there, audible to some quick hitters and show KOC how you back that pressure off.

Ok. So what do we know about Wentz? 32 years old. Big guy. Arm is still big time, seems like players in WASH liked him (story below);
https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local...s/3102186/ I'm guessing he can barely move now, statue like? He's had a whopping 3 weeks to digest the playbook.

I don't want to see Brosmer in there until the entire starting offensive line is back in there. Why ruin 2 QB's with potential. BTW I really like Brosmer. Quick with post snap reads. Quick realease. And he is more accurate than JJ. People won't want to hear that, but right now that's the way it looks. However he is a true rookie and needs time.

If Wentz got dinged up it would be ok to see him take some snaps.

Brosmer would get eaten up. Patience is hard. Hopefully Wentz has something left in the tank besides fumes.
