The team desperately needs Darrisaw back, hopefully this Sunday night. Many things to clean up, but that's typical for Game 1. A W on the road is always huge. Mason Jordan is why Minnesota didn't even sniff a RB in the Draft. Eric Wilson stepping in with the green dot for Cashman and not missing a beat.
Completely agree on DJ!! Was watching him a bit. Did a great job of taking on defender across the ball and then getting to the second level.

After watching our new punt returner I have only one thing to say: the Price is Right!

Also impressed by Mason Jordan. Knew he was a good player already, but he looks even better than I expected. Great 1-2 punch.
Eric Wilson had a heck of a game. Stud on special teams and stepped up on D when Cashman went down.
Obviously JJ too. Took him a minute, but what a cannon. That pass to Thielen for the 2 point conversion, tagged him right between the numbers. Seemed like it surprised AT with that. And the poise and leadership.
Also that drive to get the FG before half, that was clutch!
One game, but excited about the rest of the year!
Good post. For me, I would also add Reichard's 59 yard field goal, which tied the longest in Soldier Field history.

Vikings LG Donovan Jackson had 31 pass pro snaps:
• 0 sacks
• 0 pressures
• 0 QB hits
• 0 hurries
89.1 pass pro effectiveness grade
I said when they drafted him that I liked the kid. Off to a good start.

I give Minnesota so much credit for going OG in round 1. It showed me they were sick and tired of getting their asses handed to them on the interior. And how about Javon Hargrave? 2 sacks and 5 tackles. Allen messed up an easy sack opportunity.

I was a little in awe watching Hargrave and Allen out there. Two huge dudes in the middle with moves and power. I think these two are going to be fun to watch throughout the season.

Great post, several great individual performances in this game that turned it around. Price was huge, he really helped us with field position all night and was right on the verge from breaking a few all the way. OL and DL also got into together in 2nd half which really flipped the game, everything was not coming so easy for them anymore, Williams was forced out of the pocket immediately on many plays. Love the way Mason runs, we have really missed that kind of power back and he also has some great quickness, definitely see him becoming the primary RB and think that will help Jones stay fresh.
Also I think it was Kevin Williams the last time we had a DT who just completely blew up an OL and pushed everyone back to bring down the QB, Hargrove was a beast and helped to turn it around. A lot of great performances, which I think of lot it was fueled by JJ keeping the team up and having them believe they were going to win it.
