The first round picks that Dallas gets in this trade will be gotten toward the end of the round, in the late 20s. Clark will be 30 in October, but still a force (occasionally) and a good player but descending. Parsons has averaged what each year, 12+ sacks annually? He's an All Pro player. Jerry Jones is an absolute idiot and moron and the only thing partially saving him is that the Cowpie fanbase are also idiots and morons. They'll still show up and spend $$$ even though the team has been mostly either garbage or underwhelming/overrated the last 30 years because the media hypes them up EVERY year. They still think Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith are going to come out of the tunnel.

I would be more concerned if Clark hadn't been part of the trade, and we didn't have one of the best sets of bookends in the business.

Parsons will get his on occasion, but I dont see him taking over a game for them without clark making a mess of the middle, but we will see.

Parsons will definitely improve their pass rush which has been lacking since Zadarius and Preston Smith got old and less effective (and left the team). Rashan Gary can't finish, but maybe he'll get more flushed to him with Parsons on the other side. Van Ness is largely a bust as a pass rusher.

This makes their defense more dangerous, but they have concerns in the secondary too. If anything this gets them closer to us (assuming JJ McCarthy is good), but they haven't passed us or Detroit IMO.

I think there is too much emotion going both ways. Green Bay got better, but I don't think this elevated them to NFC Elite. I mean look at Dallas with CeeDee, Dak, good OL, and a solid defense with Parsons. Is Green Bay set up any better than Dallas at key spots?

Our OL protection got much better with the four, count-em four upgrades.  Darrisaw who was gone most of the season, Fries, Jackson, and Kelly.   I have to believe line against line that we've won that improvement game and we beat them twice last year.   We improved at WR and probably broke even at QB.  Overall, our Defense improved immensely on paper and in versatility.  I have to believe we're still the better team.  They added WR help, but we added a fierce pass rush and will be much stouter against the run.
