Sanders to probably get roster spot in Cleveland

Browns kept 4 QBs last year, I expect them to start the season that way again. Its so obvious that Dillon Gabriel is not only a better prospect than Sanders, he's the choice of the organization to give the most reps and support to. Gabriel is a hell of a leader. Has some elusiveness. He can learn behind Flacco and then next year the Browns can decided if they want to draft a QB high or not. I don't see Shedeur being a QB1 in the NFL.

It would be really interesting if they did cut him if anyone else would pick him up. He may have the talent to take a shot on as your #3, but would it be worth it for the circus he would bring to the team. Saw a video of him arriving to Browns first preseason game with an entourage behind him and one guy wheeling a huge boombox playing his own music, while of course blinged out with his legendary jewelry, basically a walking self promotion billboard. Think he is actually very close to going from a potential first round pick to playing the UFL.

It's Colin Kaepernik level nonsense that comes with him and like Kaepernik makes him virtually unhireable. Nobody wants the circus that comes with him including I would bet Stefanski.

I see his brother was cut yesterday after throwing a punch...although today it's rumored that Tampa Bay is just trying to slip him onto the Practice Squad.

Ownership seems to want him on the roster for some reason...

I got the feeling that Cleveland was strong armed into taking Sanders as it had become a distraction to the league.  I would guess there's likely some unknown quid pro quo going on behind the scenes between the Browns and the league to at least give Sanders a chance. The Browns are in the process of pushing for a new stadium....

The NFL would never stoop to such a level for image sake.

The league can certainly help with negotiations, guarantees from the NFL on the new Browns stadium. Pretty big incentive to do the league a solid...

My comment was pure sarcasm.
