Well, FOX (among many other in the media) are a huge part of the problem.

They feed and strongly influence feeble minds. Calling this WOKE is utterly ridiculous and damaging.

This isn't FOX, this is Newsome and the Democratic Party saying the same thing. Then, you get this as background, and all of a sudden, it's not preposterous to think this was another small step which is what I labeled it. This stuff happens all the time as people that are woke don't even realize that they are. Spin it another way for liberals. People that are racist don't even realize that they are. Two sides of the coin to this story. I know many conservatives such as myself aren't really all that offended by these actions as much as we are resolute to point out that liberals are doing exactly what they criticize conservatives of doing.... Forcing their own values on people that don't agree with them.

Look, it may not be true in your orbit, but I believe lots of people (good people) in this country dont buy into the notion that all of DEI/Woke is bad...Opportunity to improve execution? Of course there is. Neither will go away completely and they'll be re-born again and maybe with new acronyms...It's inevitable and the history of the country highlights this ebb/flow. Circle of life shit.

Just like I dont believe all conservative principles are bad by any means. The media perpetuated culture wars in this country are ridiculous with plenty of blame to go around.

You and I agree on more than we disagree. I mainly disagreed that it's crazy to think woke is behind the rebranding. Since it's not life and death, it isn't a hill to die on. But, I do believe and have since the story broke that there were young marketing and/or ad agencies that purposely moved the old white man out of the logo, and it wasn't about cleaning up the logo.

Maybe I am too jaded by my own professional experiences and what drove re-brandings like this one...I just find it hard to believe that culture or politics were a driving force.

The outrage is almost comical imo.

I suspect the barrel and or Uncle Herschel will be making a re-appearance of some sorts...Maybe a brown Uncle Herschel this time?

but seriously, as a professional you can honestly say that culture or politics dont drive re-brandings? I am hearing of major commercial banks offering over a point discounts for companies with "social credit" scores that fall into certain channels. of course politics and social shit is driving corporate decisions for branding and employment.
