The Vikings seem to have a 'type' the last 3+ year with KAM and KOC: Around 6 feet tall, give or take, not small but not big. Leaner. Not slow but not speed burners either (except for Tai Felton, he'll be the fastest WRer on the team). No complaints from this fan on the brainpower selection at WRer for the team, but Minnesota has always been the gold standard historically for having great WRers.
If Lucky can step into situations that he's called on, which won't be many, and get open and catch the football....great. Its all about stepping up for the bottom of the roster when called upon.
the emphasis is on route running, precise depths, precision cuts, and catching the ball with the hands and not the body. you can draft speed, but you can take that away, you can draft size, but again can be neutralized fairly easily, but precision work and disciplined receivers can be about as close to impossible to cover as they come, as long as the QB is accurate and can throw with anticipation.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
