This is more the way I would look at it. Providing he stays clean off the field, I think they will try to keep him, within reason. The problem will be when he wants more money than is reasonable. I never forget the first words he said when he was drafted!

Every NFL player thinks let's get paid even if he doesn't say it.  And I don't begrudge them a nickel of it.  Well maybe Marcus Davenport but otherwise, no.
