Noticed her yesterday with the calls to have her banned,  what a joke of a league though.  Clark gets pummeled nightly with no league action, but when a teammate returns the favor she is villianized.  Looking at the play in question the girl that got rag dolled was actually the instigator as she tried plowing through Cunningham by driving her shoulder into her chest.

And yes...those legs..
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I think this whole Caitlin Clark drama thing is a weird attempt to drive ratings. The vast majority of WNBA content that makes it to me via algorithms is beef related. I think if they didn’t have these ongoing beefs, the WNBA would further wither from our collective attention spans.

That said, I think it’s doing the opposite for me. I’m pretty fatigued in all these identity politics drama storylines, and I just want to back away from the WNBA to avoid that content, even though the Lynx are doing well.

Clark is the most impressive shooter I’ve seen since Bird. The WNBA is going to regret letting thugs batter her on a nightly basis.

I saw that as well.  The gal driving absolutely initiated contact, launching herself into the chest of this one. I had a rule in pick up bball, if someone cleared space or used their body illegally to move me off, I didn't let them shoot.  There was going to be no "and 1" garbage when they initiated contact.

They don't care.  The battering is like clickbait.  Actually an interesting story line in the wnba.

But yeah, she can shoot.

She's stunning, and will drop another player (firmly but not all that viciously) for hacking her teammate.

Got drawn into the Caitlin Clark stuff last year, following the team...and I'm already a big fan of Cunningham, too (as well as Boston, Hull, etc).

Well...if so, it's very convincing. I've been watching since right after she started last year, and I've watched her get knocked around brutally the whole time. In fact, I'd say that her on-court temper with the refs makes it VERY realistic, as she already has 2-3 technical fouls (mostly for growling at refs after getting clobbered) and they give a game suspension at 8. That's not a good strategy for ratings.
Wishing a great season for the team, Especially Mundt and Kwenkeu! Big Grin
