Probably. I don't know enough about either team or their dynamic in the NBA.

Time to turn off the NBA again after watching Dallas and their 1.8% chance win the draft lottery and the Cooper Flag sweepstakes lol. Utah, meanwhile had the highest chances of winning and are picking 5th. Does anybody NOT think the NBA is rigged after this? Dallas trades Luka to the Lakers and is rewarded by improbably winning the draft lottery. Just total cowshit and its like they aren't even trying to hide it anymore or make it look credible

Losing Tatum is a huge blow.  But the Knicks are playing some good basketball and the Celtics looked mortal before Tatum's injury.

Meanwhile, MN can't stop winning.  Be sweet if they can close this one out at home in 5.

Yeah, Celtics might be done now. I think they'd have a decent chance even without Tatum if they were simply playing well, but they're not.

Talk on kfan today about how to fix the tanking and lottery and the wnba was mentioned.  Apparently they use a 3 year aggregate to set the draft order,  i kind of like the approach.

I heard Mike Greenburg on ESPN yesterday trying to advocate for the NFL to go to a draft lottery system to eliminate "tanking." That would be a complete nightmare. Could you imagine the Vikings finally having the #1 overall pick only for them to get jumped by several teams and pick 5th lol, because it's the Vikings and you know that would be the case. To me, there has to be a common sense solution to make tanking difficult without implementing a lottery system where there's a constant cloud of favoritism and corruption

Thats a great idea and one I would totally support in all drafts going forward.

I would like to hear a conversation on it in terms of pros and cons,  but I agree,  on the surface IMO this would be the best way to fix the truly weak rosters and increase parity in the NFL.  Teams would be able to take a more calculated approach to rebuilding a roster through the draft this way.
