Zeppelin: Going to California "THE Rock Gods" with unmatched musical diversity Beatles: Across The Universe MB phrased it well; "Song Writing Gods" if there ever were any. I would argue they influenced rock more than anybody World was deprived of Lennons musical talents too soon Stones: Tie: Moonlight Mile/Can't u hear me knocking/Sister Morphine Musical diversity that almost matches LZ, bluesy, smokey guitar rifts and bad boys back in the day Beach Boys: Tie: God only knows/Wouldnt it be nice I never liked the BB much growing-up, but luv em now at this stage in life. Brian Wilson was a musical genius Harmonies worthy of the gods listening time

Impossible to choose just one, but for an old fart like me it would be Lynyrd skynyrd.

There is a lot of good choices, but I don't see how you couldn't put the band that still has the highest selling hard rock album of all time....AC/DC...

Badly torn between The Who and The Yardbirds, as the latter would be the springboards for a LOT of legendary guitar music....
KOC, KAM, JJM, FLORES...RIGHT THE FUGGIN' SHIP!!

Beach Boys, yeah, probably Queen...definitely Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young....honorable mention Beatles and Stones for sure...honestly not convinced about Led Zeppelin.

Not really sure what classifies as "vintage rock" anymore, but I'd have to say for me.. Led Zeppelin AC/DC The Grateful Dead Rush Favorite songs; Zeppelin- Fool in the Rain AC/DC- Guns for Hire Dead- Terrapin Station Rush- Working Man Speaking of the Dead, anybody been to the Sphere yet in Vegas to see Dead and Company? I hear it's a life changing experience. I'm thinking about going this weekend |
