Who are the worst teams in the NFL?
#1
Just kind of curious to get some different opinions, but damn, looking at the rosters of every team...they all have talent. The degree of separation is literally an injury or two. Just looking at teams in totality, these are my bets for the worst five teams for 2025;

Dallas- I don't like the coach, I don't trust Dak to stay healthy, I think Pickens is going to be a headache, and they've lost a lot of strong locker room veterans this offseason.

NY Jets- I think Glenn is the worst coaching hire of this last cycle. His handling of the Rodgers meeting is telling. Justin Fields is a rollercoaster at QB, otherwise, there's some talent on the roster.

Cleveland- Difficult division and that QB room is a mess with it being very likely that none of them are the real answer. The owner is a meddler. Their offensive line is getting old and can't stay healthy. Not even Vontae Mack or Ray Jennings could help this squad.

Miami- I get the feeling this is going to be the McDaniel/Tua swan song in South Beach. Already rumors of the players tiring of the coaches shtick and the division has gotten better and I don't think the Dolphins have.

Tennessee- Rookie QB, I think they still lack horses on both sides of the ball, and they play in a tough division.

Anybody have anything different?

I think you could add N.O. to that list. Horrific cap situation. Carr wants out/injured.

NYG might be worthy despite all the talent on D.

Maybe the 49ers too...If anything happens to Purdy or McCafferty, that team is through.

Good call on the Saints. I like Kellen Moore, but if they are starting Rattler all year I don't see that going well

You're not going to believe this but Vegas has set their win total at 10.5. Heard this yesterday on Sirius and just confirmed it.

I think that number is based on them having the projected easiest strength of schedule in the entire league (take it for what it's worth)

Gotta throw the Steelers into the conversation. Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson as the qb?

I think this is the worst Steelers' roster since Tomlin got there. Steelers one of the five worst? Probably not, but it's possible Tomlin breaks his streak of never having a losing record.

That was my problem with them is the Steelers are always going to Steeler. Even with Mason Rudolph starting all year I bet they'd win 7 or 8 games. Throw Rodgers in there, and you are probably talking double digit wins.

Hard to say, but you can tell which ones are ok with losing this year to get a QB high. Which sucks for their fanbases as the new football season is always hotly anticipated and to kind of know that there's a throwaway season upcoming is rough. Is that for the team's greater good? Probably....but choose wisely as there are no guarantees.

I’d say we can put N.O. on top now. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving franchise.
