Dow down over 700, S&P and NASDAQ dropping as well, this morning.

Hopefully, those tariffed penguins will make a deal to stop all the bleeding!

Dollar has hit a 3 year low today as well. Look, today it's from the attacks/rhetoric against the Fed...

Tomorrow? Who knows. Only thing for certain is that its going to be a roller-coaster for a while (buckle-up.) 

All and all too much instability in the air, that buck starts and stops with Potus.

I've read takes on that from BBC, a few different fact checkers, and more...and not one of them backs that number with anything like real data. In fact, even from the most neutrally rated sites, the headlines themselves were "No, 10 Million illegal immigrants didn't come in during Biden"...so, yeah, a lot of on-brand number and outrage fluffing from the people living off the clicks.

This is why I suggest data over bobbleheads, over and over and over.

The number is much lower, largely because a great many ENCOUNTERS involved the same people being caught multiple times. This is repeated through essentially every related article, not sure how anyone could miss it.

Yes, there's far too many, and YES, I agreed on that in posts you've also chosen to ignore...but, as I'm focusing on the "now" as opposed to beating dead and inaccurate horses to distract from the disaster-a-thon that is our current administration, I think it's funny how hard some will go to keep today's headlines out of today's discussions.

Likewise The lower numbers reek of wishful thinking.  With less resources actually deployed to capture people at the border....do you really believe those lower numbers of getaways?   Either way...it's a shitload of people.  We can argue about whether it's the population of Ohio (12M) or Michigan  (10M) but it's still a shitload of people.

I have no issues with an increased emphasis on increasing legal immigration...but do it the right way.  Proper paperwork, proper vetting, certification of self support, follow the law (or go home) etc.

havent seen your proof, just your denials,  and honestly i dont care,  somebody says you lie,  provide proof you didnt and move on,  but your name calling,  direct and indirectly, are a violation of the board rules,  you agreed to follow them and you dont so you are given a last opportunity to play by the rules, or you wont be playing.
