I wonder if his agent got info that a team or two who miss out on a quarterback might be interested in trading back into the late 1st round for him to get the 5th year option? Otherwise, yeah...this makes no sense

1st round pick? Idk. He is an electric player and if given an opportunity will be fun to watch

IDK, it's probably not that big of a deal if you have a healthy expectation of where you will be drafted. Put on a fancy outfit and take the lady to a fun event.

Teams tell players every year on visits or interviews that if 'you're there at #18 when we pick, you're ours'? And then they don't do it. Countless players have said as much. Hell it happened to Randy Moss. These 'healthy' expectations come from NFL teams talking shit or their agents giving bad advice. I'm not saying Milroe has gotten either, but I do know its less desirable for players to come in for this first round thing at the Draft then it used to be because of all the smoke. Jalen has the personality to fade not being selected in round 1, but my guess is the information his team received is he'll be selected by the end of the night. Whether he does or not we'll find out. Plus its being held in Green Bay.....its not like they'll go clubbing after the Draft is over. Worst site for the Draft ever.

But if those one or two teams who signaled interest pass on him, he could be sitting there a long long lone lonely time.

I'm 1/2 sconnie.. My paternal side is from Appleton, Wi Yah, the entertainment there is Chili's or the sales this week at Piggly Wiggly. I will say there are some fun little bars on the way from MN, but those aint draft day venues - not in any way. |
