OT: Tough Guys

I beat a DB on a post, caught the ball, and he horse-collared me and flipped me over landing on my head. I lost my memory. It's a weird feeling, you know you are at football practice but that is all you know. I told a coach that I lost my memory and he said that I will be fine. Well, here I am, not fine.

Jesus, I hope you're not still dealing with that.

I went down after hitting a big ass WR on a quick slant. Just remember lights, green grass, colorful uniforms. I went off for a play, trainer asks me how many fingers he's holding up, the score, the quarter, all of which I could answer. Go back into the game and "Orange 4" is called. Just a basic quarters defense. Probably ran that play a thousand times. But at that very moment, they could've called the play "Bob" and it would've meant the same to me. I was like that for about 4 plays before I came out of it.

That was the time though. Coaches, trainers, they didn't know shit. Hell, we didn't even get water back then, just ice.

Yeah, there was a trainer there, but clearly unqualified. The doctor told him that if he had been hit again in that same spot he could've died on the field.

Should biological men be able to play in women’s sports?  If you say yes, then you are a hypocrite. If you say no, you’ve changed your views, which would be commendable.  I just get a charge out of the hypocrisy here. For the record, I do hope your son is 100% okay but I feel your ideology is every bit as dangerous as that of the coach from what I’ve witnessed from you in the past.

Oh my...what in the name of drag queen bingo are you talking about!!? LOL. I don't understand the relevance. I do know that for whatever reason this topic has become top of mind for people of a certain political stripe, but I don't think I've ever once thought about it, much less expressed an opinion about it. But now I'm curious. What do you think I said?

The coach I told that I lost my memory was fired later that year for having sex with a student in the classroom where he taught.
