True.

But anyone dying over Arch has to ask themselves why couldn’t he beat out Ewers. This should raise eyebrows.

I dont know how ready Arch was nor not? He handled some situational plays well enough imo.

But it's not just the QB Ewers, that team underperforms as a whole imo.

I have no idea why they stuck with Ewers, especially this past season.

He and Beck were both huge disappointments.

Someone should have told Ewers to take a NIL deal to go to Ohio State and throw to Jeremiah Smith for a year. I would have but he wasn’t returning my calls.

Oh Arch is going to be the real deal in the NFL. Texas coaches were stubborn about benching Ewers, but that's wasn't about Manning not being able to beat out Ewers. Manning is 19 years old, it was more about that than anything. It was the plan all along and they stuck to it. Needed to get a bit bigger which he has. Ewers is going to make for a horrible NFL player IMO.

It will be a deal like Andrew Luck when Arch Manning comes out: clear #1 selection

I’d like to think Sark is smarter than that.

Ewers was an institution before last season in Texas. They still play the 'when its his time' in college football to some extent. A healthy Ewers was not going to be benched last year, although some high up Texas fans wanted that dearly.

lol, yep. Wouldn't doubt it.

'Alright now....so listen....we can't bench Quinn Ewers. Its Quinn Ewers! He's Texas football, ladies and gentleman. Ol' Arch will get his chance. Alright, alright, alright'

Not sure why they just don't give him a headset and call it day on the sidelines.
