We need to commit to the run, this helps. They need to draft a mid round back that will stick his nose in a gap and a LB face, and no more bust picks like Ngwongwu and Chandler. Mattison was close but had very inconsistent vision and pass protection, fatal flaws for an nfl back.

He's a great team player I love his game........

Giving a 30 year old scat back a 2 year 20 million dollar deal is not a move I'd have done..

He'll miss games this year.

If he was a bell cow and under 30 or this wasn't an allegedly draft deep for running backs I'd support it..

Hard to complain about this signing, great locker room guy and a productive RB. Keeps us from forcing a RB pick in the draft, can just use a pick when we feel the value and talent is right.

I think this is a contract that respects the player plus its an easy out that wont hurt the team.

Honestly, I dont think he's more than a 1 year back here on-going. I think it'll be RB by committee in 25 - which is what they wanted in 24 and didnt get.

No way they dont take a back in this draft, just a matter of where/when.

Typically always banged up guys don’t…checks notes… start 18 out of 18 games, but that could just be me.

And how many of those games was he not 100% for a game, hence I said always banged up and not always injured.

Maybe the two games he didn’t lead the team in rushing? To me, 2 out of 18 doesn’t seem statistically significant. But, again, maybe that’s just me.

6 games of less than 48 yards and only went over 100 yards twice and that was barely.  Great if you think that kind of production for a guy on the decline is worth signing up for two more years of, that is your prerogative.  In a RB rich draft, I would rather look for a franchise back there.
