Well, they're gonna have 12 late-round picks!
Wait, we failed to protect our QB in big games, again?

MAYBE THERE'S A LESSON HERE.

Rick Spielman, who assisted the New York Jets in their searches for a GM and head coach, has accepted a full-time position with the organization.

Spielman will be the senior football adviser, he announced Thursday on his CBS Sports podcast "With the First Pick."

"Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey are the final decisionmakers," Spielman said of the new coach and GM, respectively. "I'm just there as their sounding board."

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Robbie is from the Bronco's, George Paton's nephew.  The league has a family feel.  Shoot the only family network I had was small rural garages and hardware stores.

I was wondering if there was a connection from Robbie to George...

RS had (for the most part) some good draft picks. Lots of perspective he can leverage for the Jets. Thats a good spot for him, certainly better than GM. I think those GM days are done for him.
