Rick Spielman, who assisted the New York Jets in their searches for a GM and head coach, has accepted a full-time position with the organization.
Spielman will be the senior football adviser, he announced Thursday on his CBS Sports podcast "With the First Pick." "Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey are the final decisionmakers," Spielman said of the new coach and GM, respectively.
