Fair or not, Darnold/Vikings will be judged by this game

Vikings are the least hyped, least talked about 13/2 team in history....

It's because most of the national media don't believe in Darnold.  But he's played better than Jordan Love this season and has already surpassed Love's statistical performance from last season.  But somehow Green Bay is more dangerous, has a better QB, etc.

Fuck the Pack and all their gravy drinking fan base.

BOOM

I agree, its is Darnold...Its why people could make ++ $ on the Vikings earlier in the year from Vegas too.

These are the national, high stakes games that could change the narrative for him. One thats been 7 years in the making.

Its the games that'll get the attention of every QB needy team out there - and there are plenty of em.

I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that some team is going to offer him a deal he cant refuse this off-season. Especially if he plays well the next 3-4 games.

I hope the Vikings win (Packers suck) but if they do the national media will lead with the narrative, well it was because the Packers didn't play well or this player got hurt or the refs screwed the Pack. Nobody gives the Vikings credit for what they have done this season and the Pack are a Super Bowl favorite by many so the Vikings just got lucky if they win.

People keep expecting Bad Sam to show up. But Bad Sam is dead. Sam is doing what he's doing because of good coaching, culture, the play designs and his terrific weapons. None of that is going away and I've been saying that since week 3.

But here's the problem. Like every QB in the NFL, including Mahomes, Lamar, Allen, Goff, Sam is capable of putting up a stinker. And when that happens, if it happens, especially if it ends our season, the haters are going to say "see, I told you so." Guaranteed.

I can only hold my breath til the game is done on Sunday.
I will say this...the NFL has unknowingly scheduled potentially the two best matchups for the last two weekends of this season.
