Fair or not, Darnold/Vikings will be judged by this game
#1
There is no huge matchup in Detroit the last game if Minnesota doesn't win Sunday night. Game of the Week on FOX, the whole country will be watching. At U.S. Bank against our hated rival that is also good. The Vikings and Darnold will be judged as legit with a victory, not only nationally but probably by a decent portion of Skol Nation.

All we could ask for as fans this year has been surpassed and then some already, but this is what we asked for, meaningful games and the playoffs....now we got it. Other than Darrisaw, I think the whole roster is back for this game. If you are a big boy team, you win big boy games: this is definitely one of those. I'm all in watching this game, going to be excited and let it rip. Let the best team win. Should be a blast.

If there was ever a time for a no doubter type of game plan, this would be eat. If KOC and company could come out and dominate both sides of the line it would change a lot of fans mentality IMo.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Not sure why the team would need to 'dominate' to change minds or get people on board. Most games are won by a few plays. I'll very gladly take a win, I don't need the Vikings to be the 85' Bears on Sunday afternoon. I mean, Minnesota was up 28-0 early in Green Bay in the first matchup....

Should be a close game. I wouldn’t be crushed by a loss, Green Bay is a really talented team with great coaching.

That said, I expect a win this week and our showdown rematch with the Kitts for the crown. Helluva year bros!!

Right?  I mean blowouts are rare in the NFL and usually don't happen between two good teams that are pretty healthy unless there are a ton of turnovers by one squad.

Just win the game, you don't get style points.

I'm worried that whatever adjustment the Packers made in the last game to shut down our offense and restart theirs will be used to start this game. In that one, we were up 28-0 with 15 seconds left in the half. Ended 31-29

BUT...the Vikings are fully healthy (outside of CD) and I honestly think the Vikings are the better team. Playing at home. This game will be won by whoever makes the fewest errors.

Yah, we're resting people at Detroit if the division/#1 seed isnt on the line.

Overall, I would give the Vikings a slight talent edge.

Both coaching staffs are very good

History is a good guide and she says this will most likely be a close game. I hope I leave the Bank a happy camper Sunday night!

Yep, just saw that. It's not just dominating the late slot. It's a national broadcast. You don't see many of those and I think not many people have seen these Vikings play. It's time for Darnold and company to show the world what all the fuss is about.
