CEO of UnitedHealthcare murdered this morning in Manhattan
#41
I don’t know how to import a picture off this phone but the Facebook post UHC put out had 68,000 laughing, 2400 sad, 2000 hearts, 660 likes lol

They had to disable comments.

There’s no jury that’s convicting the guy when he’s eventually caught.

The American people contracted with a 3rd party to make life and death healthcare decisions for him. Maybe suggest his family visits the website and fill out a complaint form. We’ll respond in 6-12 months.

We all agree, nobody deserves to die because of shitty decisions made by other people. But if we’re keeping score…..

That post will likely be the strangest thing I read all week.

With the job he achieved, he died running a pretty horrible company with the highest level of denials in an already wickedly corrupt industry, had signed off on an AI algorithm that was denying and overriding claims of sick elderly people...and it has a 90 percent error rate. That's right from multiple news sources, and happened on the Thompson's watch.

So, the position he had to work for is leading a company with horrid processes, ones that can ruin/end customers' lives FOR PROFIT....and he held the reins.

I don't have to condone murder to shed no tears for this passing.

Your summation of events and how they happen are even worse than the media's.  You take all that shit as fact.  I don't.  You love to think of the worst in people.  I don't.  I have no idea if the guy was good or bad, but you don't become CEO of a company that size without having many great qualities.  The family member I know is not a close friend of mine, but an acquaintance.  But he is a close family member and i had nothing but positive experiences.  Go ahead with your negativity. That's fine, but maybe you should save it for real asshats like Fauci that have a proven record of no shame in putting millions ups millions of lives at risk through their hubris.  There is enough data to show Fauci is a liar, an ego-maniac, and a person willing to kill millions of people through hubris. I think that's the kind of guy I'll save my ire for. Not a CEO taking potshots from a media that loves to do just that to people like him.

Are you saying you're OK with people getting wacked as long as its a person you disagree with like Fauci?

Why can't you be either honest or accurate on here? Seriously, it's even more alarming than your 30 page echo chamber thread...!

Not impressive, much like this specific stand.

First of all...sparky...you don't know me. You've never shared a table, a drink, a meal, or a functional conversation with me, as you respond to anything with unrelated or barely related babble that wasn't discussed in the previous posts as your "points". Furthermore, you constantly quote "sources" that face lawsuits/judgements/etc for lying on a huge scale, selling hatred and outrage to anyone easily swayed into "anger clicking". So, don't tell me about what I do or don't look for in people, you don't actually know me beyond some lines of text that you, by your own repeated admissions, struggle to understand.

I'm responding to his current body of work, my experiences with UHC, and the readily available data/information that anyone can access without even dealing with "echo chambers". The company's profitability via its godawful practices is easily researched, programs that have come about during his tenure equally so, and as I pointed out above, this is with a company that is part of a horrid industry that lobbies their products/services into MANDATORY status for Americans and others.

He worked for the leading post in one of the worst examples of a truly horrid industry, and "great qualities" were utilized for truly abhorrent processes...so, are they great?

I get that you have to compare everything to Fauci, as your monster thread shows. I wonder if you can even order a meal without mentioning him, which makes for an amusing mental picture of a social night out at Applebee's or similar...!  Big Grin

There is no way they dont have a bead on this guy by now. They probably know name, history etc...

Now when they eventually do apprehend or find the body is anybodies guess.

Waterboy, since you know the family through a friend of a friend you might suggest they increase the reward money to at least 1/2 of my family deductible for the year. I bet that'll get someone to squeal.

I'm not okay with anyone getting "whacked" without a trial, but has Fauci done things that deserve the death penalty?  (I wouldn't rule it out).  Has this guy?  Absolutely not, and there's far less evidence that he was on the other side of the law.  The evidence against Fauci is overwhelming.  There's just been a much larger effort to cover it up.

It isn't a friend of a friend situation.  I'm a friend of a close family member, just not a particularly close friend.   And you may think you're being funny, but you're just really acting like a douche.

Dude, you get your information from Zerohedge.  Don't talk to me about douches.

You are aware that Fauci isn't related to the UHC CEO death, right?

It's not either/or, opinions on one situation do not inform the opinions on the other.

Saying "...well, what about Fauci..." to an unrelated situation is, at best, quizzical. Completely on brand, yes, but quizzical.
