Buyers or Sellers...

no talk on the rumors of Addison taking a page out of the Diggs playbook with a cryptic tweet this weekend?

"Free 3"

is that him wanting out,  or is that him essentially "feed 3"?

his numbers on the year are pretty unimpressive,  especially you have JJ as the other WR ( yes I know he was injured) I do scratch my head when I see them lined up on the same side as each other,  you know in most instances JJ is going to have a S over the top,  why  start Addy with the same handicap, especially when our OL is hit or miss on protection.  I think KOC is going to have to get really creative to keep those 2 happy now that Hock is back...basically they need to get back to winning, which is going to be harder now the CD is done.

Apparently, he said that about Reichard. Saying that any time the Vikings get past the 50 yard line, its going to be a 'free 3' because of Reichard. No idea if that is accurate or not.

I've just felt all along that front office has its eyes on 2025 and was ready to take this season for whatever happened. "Worst case" ...Darnold didn't pan out at all, we suck for the first half of the year and maybe get the rook some experience. As it is, McCarthy went down for the year (which is likely a blessing in disguise) and Darnold has played relatively decent ball. I think regardless of what scenario played out, the F.O. is just looking to stand pat and "finish" the rebuild next year. I think the only way that changes is if a young "game changer" type on the OL or Defensively comes available. They'll tell you differently, but the playoffs could not have been in the plans heading into the year.

Out of the 22 UFAs we have next year: I think Bynum is almost a lock for an extension, probably Byron Murphy, and MAYBE Aaron Jones on a lower "third down back" Eckler-esque 2yr 8Mil kinda contract. Other than that....I think everyone with expiring contracts is history. I think the Vikings want absolutely as much cap flexibility as possible next year.
