Wheres The Outrage?
#1
after Katrina,  Bush got blasted for the Feds response to the disaster,  yet we have now seen at least 3 major disasters ( I am sure there are many more ) that make the news,  but the Federal response (especially from the white house ) is completely bull shit.  Palestine OH,  the Hawaii fires, and now Helene.

Biden/Harris are completely hands off, Biden was asked about a federal response to Helene and his comment was they had done a lot,  when pressed for an explanation of why those areas arent receiving federal help, he said "they havent asked for it"  who the fuck is he kidding?  first off the calls for help have been non stop all over social media and not just from private entities,  second, they are the federal govt,  the stick their fucking noses into state and local matters all the time,  why when Americans are hurting the worst does it seem these dip shits can only focus on world issues and completely ignore their own citizens?

Disgusting.

Well, I won't pretend that I've taken the time to deep-dive in FEMA responses, done comparisons, etc, as of yet, but I can offer 1 partial explanation:

it was seemingly acceptable to blame "Dubya" for all the ills in the world, regardless the source, in the majority of all global media.

I promise you, if Trump was in charge right now and the federal response to these disasters was what it has been, it would have been major news leading story for months after each event, but when its team blue... barely makes page 3.

Elon buys Twitter and peoples heads were fucking exploding over it being the end of free speech, the end of democracy, blah blah blah. Soros buys 200 US radio stations and nobody says a damn word. The real threat to democracy isnt Trump, or Musk, or any of the many from the left that have seen the evils and have quit that party, its the media and the people that are controlling the message ( and most of social media )

I would love to hear what Yuri Brezmenov would have to say about how his predictions are turning out.

Feds say there’s no money left to respond to hurricanes — after FEMA spent $640M on migrants

Isabella Maria DeLuca

@IsabellaMDeLuca
So far this year, the United States has given:

- $24,400,000,000 to Ukraine.
- $11,300,000,000 to Israel.
- $1,950,000,000 to Ethiopia.
- $1,600,000,000 to Jordan.
- $1,400,000,000 to Egypt.
- $1,100,000,000 to Afghanistan.
- $1,100,000,000 to Somalia.
- $1,000,000,000 to Yemen.
- $987,000,000 to Congo.
- $896,000,000 to Syria.
- $9,000 per illegal immigrant that has entered the U.S.

And Americans who have lost everything to Hurricane Helene will be getting $750, courtesy of FEMA.

That cost list, as has been discussed on other threads, is misleading, because much of that money is not GIVEN, it's credited, and helps to keep certain portions of our industries rolling. I understand the desire to push propaganda, but that never makes it honorable, right, or anything but spineless disinformation.

You really spit and stomp when the lefties do it, after all...am I right?

(suggested do over)

As far as immigration, FEMA funds, and so forth...yeah, I've called Harris pure junk on the border something like a dozen times here, so I hope she's forced to do most of the groveling for funds reallocation. "Brandon" is unlikely to have the attention span, and effectiveness is extremely important.

its money that could have been used to keep Americans in homes, I dont care what industry its feeding, its American tax money that is being spent on foreign interests and not on American needs.

Trump needs to win,  and FEMA and HOMELAND need to be major targets for his shrink the govt agency.

Elon Musk

@elonmusk
Just received this note from a SpaceX engineer helping on the ground in North Carolina.

@FEMA
is not merely failing to adequately help people in trouble, but is actively blocking citizens who try to help!

“Hey Elon, update here on site of Asheville, NC. We have powered up two large operating bases for choppers to deliver goods into  hands. We’ve deployed 300+ starlinks and outpour is it has saved many lives.

The big issue is FEMA is actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough.”

Maybe we could start with...getting rid of more SPINELESS SHITBAG PROPAGANDA!!!

How about some OUTRAGE at actual disinformation/lie campaigns? Oh, wait...that'd be brutal to certain, um, "accuracy challenged" types. This campaign is every bit as gutless and guileless as the ones that hounded Dubya.

"Rumor: FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.
Fact:
This is false.

This is a type of assistance that you may be approved for soon after you apply, called Serious Needs Assistance. It is an upfront, flexible payment to help cover essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify for to receive and Serious Needs Assistance is an initial payment you may receive while FEMA assesses your eligibility for additional funds. As your application continues to be reviewed, you may still receive additional forms of assistance for other needs such as support for temporary housing, personal property and home repair costs. If you have questions about your disaster assistance application and what you qualify for, contact us at 1-800-621-3362 to speak with a FEMA representative in your language."
