If The Darnold had the name 'Jones' or 'Smith' on the back of his jersey, some media wouldn't be so hesitant. They bring preconceived notions to the thought process. Just watch the games and you can see nobody is playing better right now. NOBODY.

You can tell who in the media has actually watched all or a portion of the Vikings games and not just the highlights. The ones that have watched us see a dominant team. The others are like well this is a great story, just not convinced... Lol I said this a week or two ago, the Vikings look like last year's Lions team. We're finally playing with an edge and physicality that was missing on offense and defense. Have a veteran QB cast off that found new life, strong 1-2 punch at RB, a front 7 that can wreak havoc. The only difference is we actually have a stud WR2 in Addison and a better secondary. This has the look of a team that can be playing deep into winter. BOOM |
