speed with a lot of other potential issues, its not like he was on a wide open highway with nobody around and decided to blow the carbon out. He was near an NFL stadium a few hours prior to game time, you've been around the Dome and USB enough to know that is not the time or place to be driving like an idiot. I have read that he was "not immediately cooperative with authorities" I am not going to say the cops were justified in what they did.. but I am not going to assume that Hill didnt deserve what he got, without further information.

I looked it up and reckless driving is an arrestable misdemeanor offense in Florida and he was driving at excessive speed without due regard for the community. You have a misdemeanor offense being committed in the presence of a Police Officer. I wish the cops would just come out and say it for what it was, Hill was arrested and cited and released on scene for the offense. The actions of Hill caused the situation and escalated the situation to what we saw in the video clip. He probably talked himself into those cuffs and when he refused to sit down, he was made to sit down. Don't feel sorry for this guy. Great football player, not a great person, and certainly not his first brush with the law.

The multiple videos are showing excessive force by the police so I can see why the administrative leave came on pretty quick

He didn't listen to police when they told him to put his window down. It's Miami. He was driving like a dumbshit. At the same time, some of that sure looked excessive by the officers. Here's the deal with police in fucked up cities like Miami: they deal with a lot of arrogant and non-complying assholes. Everyday. Their patience level goes away in a nanosecond with non-compliance. You also cannot see inside Hill's car, its completely blacked out. He could have a gun pointed at them on the other side. The police have a VERY difficult job in big cities, they are almost constantly stressed during interactions with people that quickly escalate. We all know there are bad police officers that are bullies and love to smash people face first into the pavement for no good reason. Its real and documented. Some of it is racist. But man they have a tough job.
