Predictions......previews.....and other items of bullshit and tomfoolery by a once proud sports programming powerhouse. Enjoy!

I would be remiss if I didn't include the dipshits over at CBS Sports and their predictions for the upcoming season:

I think there'd be more Viking luv out there if Darnold was not the QB.

Who can blame the media for not believing in Darnold? He may be just a smidge above Zach Wilson in perception.

Meh....all wrong. 49ers are too high. Chiefs will be the best team in the NFL, triggering some "best team ever" talk. Their roster is ridiculous. Houston, Baltimore and Bengals follow. Bills take big step back. Harbaugh’s Chargers struggle with identity as a running team with no running backs.

Vikings finish 9-8 behind strong performances from the Brian Flores’s defense and Sam Darnold. Darnold will get many nods for Comeback player of the year, but will lose to Rodgers or Cousins, because technically, you have to have been good at one point for it to qualify as a “comeback.” Darnold will get most improved award and parlay his ’24 performance into a top 20 contract from the Raiders.

Led by Cousins, London and Bijan, Falcons will have the best offense in the NFC, but their defense keeps them from reaching the top level with the Lions, Rams and Eagles. 49ers take a step back after lengthy (I hope) Trent Williams holdout. Purdy is exposed a little. Packers and Cowboys struggle to run the ball. Dak Prescott leads the NFL in passing yards.

While I agree with most of what you said, Maroon... @the bold...  not always true.  See Geno Smith.  :-)

I usually dont make predictions cause I am seldom right:

Everything is set-up (on paper) for ATL to take a big step forward. Not sure I trust their coaching or karma. I think TB is a dark horse.

I think the Chargers take a big step forward and Dallas will under-deliver while still suffering from a post-season hang-over.

Cinci with a healthy Burrows is a contender and I am still a Bills believer.

Philly is a team I cannot put my finger on...Is Hurts right now or not? Will new coordinator cure what ills?

At the end of the day; imo the 49'ers and Chiefs are best teams in their conferences. Doesnt mean either will make the SB though.

Atlanta and Detroit in the NFCC Game. Houston and KC in the AFCC game.

Vikings win 7 games. McCarthy has his driveway shoveled by locals every snowfall throughout the season.

Fair, but I think last year AP awarded Flacco the comeback award over Baker for this very reason, or so it seemed. Baker got "most improved." It's possible when Geno won the award there wasn't a big return of a once-good player. This year there are two obvious candidates in Rodgers and Cousins.

ESPN also did a simulation run for the season. Vikings the worst team in the league, drafting #1. As much as the season would suck enduring it, imagine the haul trading out of that #1 pick for the team that wants the highest rated QB? It would be a huge help to the organization and their window (hopefully with McCarthy).

I'm guessing Sheduer will solidify himself as the #1 guy.  There will be a number of teams wanting to get up there for him if a team that has a QB gets the #1 overall pick.
