Reichard = money
#1
Isn't it a different feeling with Reichard kicking?
Instead of going into a FG attempt (regardless of the distance) thinking "hey, maybe he'll make it, we have about a 4 in 5 chance on some days", it's a different feeling of confidence.
I'm out of market and can't watch todays game against the Eagles live, but following it on ESPN Gamecast.

I'm optimistic for BFlo's defense and I don't have enough time in the saddle watching Darnold to have confidence in him...that will come in time.

But with Reichard's foot, I think that's probably good enough for an additional 3 wins this season.

Reichard: Taken with kickback pick #203 from Jets in McCarthy trade
LDR: Taken with kickback pick #232 from Texans in trade up from #42 to #23.

It would be something if 2 guys taken with throw-in picks became rookie contributors.

They say you should never spend a draft pick on a kicker. Maybe this is the exception. Time will tell.

They are dumb, kickers are often among the highest scoring players on a team it would be dumb to not draft one in the later rounds if you have a need and there is a talent available.

UDFA kickers and drafted kickers are indistinguishable over the long run. It's better to spend your draft picks on other positions where more value is likely to be found.
