The fuck it is, there are just as many unqualified third party wingnut candidates as there are from the main parties, you need to accept that its not party affiliation, its the candidate and the money behind them. you want to get your people elected... then herd those cats into what can be explained as a unified party platform and then find the money to support it. and like I have said plenty, you wont win big elections until you get enough people in place in the state and local seats to become a legit contender. How many states have a legit third party presence? Dont get me wrong, I agree that we should have a legit third party, and I dont really identify with either main party, but I can also realize that the at times the situation is to dire to waste votes on a losing proposition. 1 time since 1968 a third party candidate has gotten more than 10% in the presidential election, only 3 times since 68 have they gotten more than 5%, and none since Perot in 96. Its your vote, use it as you wish, but preaching at people on a futile effort...is, well futile I would say.

I'd also point out that the debate commission is run by...treason camp 1 and 2, who we both know are stacks of liars and filth. Do you doubt that they'd fudge numbers to keep others out of their games?

It's insane that 140 million Americans will go "full moron" this November and vote for the same parties that have combined for our deficit, our divisions, our lack of immigration policy, our marginalization of our entire heartland's votes, and essentially creating snarling worship of the worst people/practices we could have as a country.

you want to control the media.... get some money behind your position, but the alternative parties cant get organized at all, until they can define a platform and get enough money behind it a vote for a 3rd party is a wasted vote and always will be, or change the song to one that people can get behind, Trump got no support from the republican hierarchy when he ran in 2016, it wasnt until he won the nomination and even then he never got the love of the party, but the fucking people of the party have liked his message and platform so unlike their democrat counter parts who rigged their primaries to keep out the more popular candidate, the repubs went along with it. Trump didnt have to control the media, he just found a message that the people wanted to hear and got it out there, especially in the day and age of social media, if there is a strong enough candidate they can get their message out. besides, if somebody really wanted to be a 3rd party but actually get elected, register and run as one of the two main parties and switch your party after you get elected, but typically they just arent electable candidates on the third party tickets.
