I still think Minnesota won't move up before #4 or #5.

Today's tea leaves say Maye or Mac goes to Washington at #2, the other goes at #3 to either New England or Minnesota. QB4 could be Daniels and he could drop out of the top 10.

Tune in tomorrow for Tomorrow's Tea Leaves...
Yes, further today's tea leaves: Arizona is willing to trade out of #4.

As well they should. I think this will end up being Maye or McCarthy at this pick.

Add LAR as a team looking for their QBOTF as Stafford is 38 years old. Possibly Seattle also as Geno is in the last year of his contract. They just traded for Sam Howell who they might or might not view as their QBOTF.

In an attempt to squash doubts about his quarterback's weight, LSU head coach Brian Kelly may have telegraphed that Daniels will be the 2024 NFL Draft's second overall pick by the Commanders. Or, it may have been an honest mistake after spending plenty of time talking at the pro day with Washington head coach Dan Quinn, offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and general manger Adam Peters.
"He [Daniels] is going to be so committed to taking care of himself that you're not going to have to worry about size or [if] he doesn't weigh enough," Kelly said. "Lamar [Jackson] has done a pretty good job with his size. [Patrick] Mahomes I wouldn't consider him a giant. Because he [Daniels] is going to get the ball out to the playmakers and make plays. For Washington."

Daniels is -130 to go 2nd at one of my outs.  Drake Maye +200.

considering the noise out of NY and that they are sending a contingent around to QB pro days... I think its growing more likely that we will have to jump them to get our choice of the top 4 QBs,  or they are making it look like they are all in on a QB in order to get another QB hungry team to jump them so a better non QB prospect falls to them?  I suspect they have seen enough of Danny Jones and are looking to draft a parachute.

Probably McCarthy. IMO, he'll be the 4th QB taken despite the recent and latest hype.

Daniels to Washington sounds pretty nailed down. Draft starts at pick 3. Will it be Mac or Maye? And will it be New England or Minnesota making it?

If you have access to The Athletic, there's a pretty thorough analysis of the Patriots' various trade down options. The Pats can trade down and still take a QB at 11 or 23. Or, after trading with the Vikings, they could package picks to move back up from 11 to 4 for one of the top 4 QBs.

Baumgardner: From a here-and-now football sense, my opinion is that the Patriots need to move off No. 3 and make sure they’re ready for a rookie quarterback next year. Maybe they already believe they are — I’ve seen worse roster situations for a first-year head coach/GM duo.
Graff: If the quarterback that the Patriots favor — we still don’t know for sure if that’s Maye or Daniels, although the guess here is Maye — slips to them at No. 3, I think they’re taking that guy and hanging up the phones, even if Minnesota makes a massive offer.
Their scenario gets more interesting if Washington takes New England’s preferred quarterback at No. 2. At that point, I think moving back would become more of an option, albeit still an unlikely one.
Of these, I think I like the trade back up to No. 4 to land McCarthy best. That scenario gets them one of the top quarterbacks in this draft and adds another first-round pick. That would be quite the move, and it would require a lot of faith that Wolf could maneuver the draft board that well.
