He is still my favorite out of those second tier quarterbacks. I don't know that we pull the trigger at #11, but if they roll the dice, go with the kid with the most upside

Harbaugh doesn't believe what he said and no one thinks he believes it.  That was 100% sticking up for your player.

Yeah, just Harbaugh being Harbaugh.

Interesting conversation with analyst Jordan Reid about Penix and Nix underwhelming in Mobile, New England possibly passing on QB because they have an entire roster to fill and do you put a rookie QB on a team like that? Good point. And the Vikings, if they don't trade up or down, possibly getting the top defensive player in the draft at 11.

I really wish more people who evaluate players would tell both sides of the story like this. You need to click on the thread to read it all.

Most of the negatives are differing versions of, “got lit up, should have slid.” Teachable. The pocket awareness is the bigger concern but hopefully would improve in time.

Yeah, I noticed that. It's like he was trying to even out both sides by using the same criticism a few times.

I've never really warmed to Maye after doing a fan deep dive on him a few months ago. Wanted to see what all the hype was about.....and I never saw it. JMO.

Honestly, I think it's mostly about his prototypical NFL QB traits. He looks like Justin Herbert. But when you put him on you see a lot of flaws. True with all of them, but I expected more from a guy some think is the 1st or 2nd best QB in the best QB class in years.
