Is there a way to hide this thread now that training camp has started?  Excited to have real Vikings things to talk about instead of just Kirko.

The eternal thread bump is kind of ridiculous at this point. People have had their mind made up on covid since….well, covid.
When refreshing your the site choose longship instead of recent discussions  and that will keep you in the football board.
Yes, thatll keep all off topic out.  Thats better then nothing. If I block waterboy will that block the thread since he was the original author?  He doesn’t talk Vikings, so Im not missing anything there.
No,  you will still see the thread,  but there is an option to sink a thread which will keep it from going back to the top of your board.  Its under the gear icon in the thread.
I dont see it on my phone. Ill check with my computer when Im able. Thanks!!!

Is there an echo in here?
I kinda thought the echo chamber went and made its own newmax-turbation site awhile back...?

You might have an option I don't.  The only gear icon is after my own posts and it only lets me edit what I wrote.  I don't see a gear for the thread as a whole.

This is great to know, you do know that the vaccine doesn’t help in preventing getting the virus at all, right?

Maybe not,  but it does help limit the severity and typically long term affects are not associated with mild cases of anything so while the vaccine is pretty limited in its scope of use,  and its clearly a health risk for some,  there may be cases where the benefits outweighs the risks for some people,  so all factual information is a good thing to share IMO.

Some of that "may" be true.  The more I look into the numbers, the more it looks like it helped the first time around in lessening the symptoms, but the ongoing boosters seem to make re-infection more likely and the gap between the symptoms of those who have had the vax versus those who have not is shrinking considerably as well.  At this point, most have had their initial hit of Covid and so the immunity factor is decreasing the gap between the outcomes once contracted.  Yet, the cases of cancer, myocarditis, and the all-death rates continue to spiral.
