nothing has been won, if you think this changes anything you are sorely mistaken. there is and always will be a segment of the population that follows before thinking and this wont change that.
the biggest loss is the loss of trust in entities that we as Americans need to be able to trust in if our society is going to continue to exist. we need to have leaders that we can all trust, we need to have medical professionals that we can trust are working in the best interest of our health, and we need to trust that both of them will work to make sure that the for profit entities that they help regulate are taking the precautions necessary and are not milking the US tax payer and its US customers. If there is ever going to be anything that gets me to support govt run health care its that I despise the health care giants more than the politicians that are letting them get away with it. Plain and simply, a drug or life saving procedure should not cost 10X more in the US than it does anywhere else in the world, especially when its our publicly funded universities that are churning out the doctors and scientists, and building the education and research facilities for these companies. same goes for Agriculture and other industries, the US solves the problem, the US tax payer funded the solution, the solution is given away to foreign countries, but the US tax payer still pays out the ass for the products.

I don't disagree with anything in your second paragraph. I agree with the second sentence of your first paragraph. I don't agree with your first sentence. The first step in changing anything is exposing it. I'm not naive enough to believe it makes everything better. I am optimistic enough to believe that the more people see the true story, the more likely it is to prevent reoccurrence, and potentially the people in power won't be in power next time.

Jimmy, being dead serious, wouldn’t you have to say this is a win in many ways? Particularly, once it inevitably ends up at the Supreme Court (which likely will uphold this ruling), as politically inspired lower court appointees continue to do Biden’s bidding?
