A case for the worst Superbowl contender ever
#11
Every team in this league is good - all professionals who are the best at what they do.

Any team can beat another “any given Sunday” home / away, favored or underdog.

Unless you have deep talent / The health of your starting players is damn important.

There is an element of luck / despite skill / in a few plays in every game which can determine an outcome. a fumble, a blocked punt, missed kick, etc.

Referees will often “keep teams in games” and too often dictate its outcome. I anticipate a lot less flags in the playoffs, they usually let guys go at each other.

Team chemistry and confidence help foster a “positive culture”

All that said, it has been a sweet ride, as Vikings fans we are ALWAYS expecting disappointment. I say, screw the “margin of victory” stats and naysayers. All we have ever wanted for our decades of heartbreak is “one year” to put it all together....

...Why not this one?

I still keep thinking of the Cincinnati Bengals from last year.
