Top of mind for me:
  • I will be disappointed if they dont win a wild-card game @ home, big changes in this fans expectations this year!
  • Vikings really need to win both divisional road games to keep #2 seed, I dont see that happening
  • Same concerns on D. Its opportunistic at times, but it's not in same league as NFC elite, I dont expect it to deliver a deep playoff run
  • Next years team may not post as gaudy a record in regular season, but it's hopefully more balanced across O vs D
  • A full year under a new system should help a lot in 23
  • When's the last time the Vikings ST's were this good? Will miss our ST's coach
  • Watched SF, Eagles and Cowboys yesterday and they are stronger on both side of the ball vs Vikings
  • What a wonderful regular season its been; happy for me, the fans, coaches and players
Divisional games are always a battle. And these two are away. It'll be tough to win them both. But I do think these are probably the two weakest teams we've faced in probably two months.
I dont see things setting up well for us this week:

1). Natural let-down after 2 crazy games
2). Packers running game is going to be a difficult match-up for our D

I'm not sure how much I believe that looking at the two teams records lol, but just a gut feel. Most seasons we split with GB.

Christian Watson also has something to prove. Not a good match up with our secondary

Every week there's a reason we should lose. Short week, trap game, let down, etc, etc, Yet we still keep playing the same game for the most part. Different opponent, same game.

Here's a reason we should win: both the Packers and the Bears suck.

I will agree, though, that the Packers run game scares me, as would a moderately successful Texas high school rushing attack against this horrible defense. Wanna know why the Giants lost? Saquon Barkley ran the ball 14 times.

This team has proved they can win...and lose to anyone anywhere.  I dont think a let down after 2 crazy games is probable.  1.  its the last two weeks of the regular season , the players and staff should be on point.  2.  This has been a season  of crazy games for this team, the natural expectations I think should just be tossed aside.  Its an uncommon season with an uncommon team.   Enjoy the ride.

Cousins toughness and durability is ridiculous. Sometimes you see a hit and you think, "oh damn...that's the one, he's not going to get up." But then he does. Every time. To show just how insane that is, at one point or another, to one degree or another, the following QBs have been hurt this year: Kyler, Lamar, Tua, Jimmy G, Stafford, Tannehill, Wentz, Dak, Winston, Teddy, Fields, Hurts, Mike White, Pickett, Lance...and I know I'm missing some.

Asamoah is going to be a star...as early as next season.

I think the culture change has maybe benefitted Joseph more than any other player. Twitter wanted his head a few weeks ago when he missed that PAT. Does he make that 61 yarder if Zimmer's coach? Is he even still on the team?
With Zimmer doubt they would have even attempted a 61 yarder.

Looking at the overhead of the Hockinson TD, looks like he even had a hand in the face to overcome.

The Vikings special teams changed the outcome in the games against the saints and the patriot.

Yesterday  Joseph and mettelus  did the same thing.

That's fun to watch.

Danielle Hunter said something about Asamoah after the game. Apparently, Asamoah asked for his signed jersey afterwards and Danielle gave it to him. Hunter said something like it 'was great to see Brian play well, he's going to be a star for this team'. I'm paraphrasing but it was along those lines.

He sees the same thing we all see. Quickness, intensity, ridiculous range, playmaking ability. He's a rookie, so right now he's thinking too much, but when he starts playing full speed, he's going to be a problem.

The '22 draft might be remembered more for Ingram, Evans and Asamoah than Cine and Booth.

A glimpse into the future perhaps with Asamoah, Shelley and Ingram grading very high...

I'm trying to figure out if KJO is ready to take over WR2...

Hope we get some clarity on this the next few games.

We're going to need Mattison to step-up the next 2, cold road games too.
