well I am going to tell you.... its not going to do much, just as making drugs illegal has done to stop drug use... if there is a demand there will be somebody to fill that demand. maybe we should try and focus on curbing the demand?

I'm sure I don't need to show you yet another graphic that shows how the US leads the world in gun violence...and not by a factor of three or four but by three or four dozen, with the obvious difference being our nearly unfettered access to not just guns, but weapons of war.

I think the vast VAST majority of gun owners would be open to common sense legislation if it werent for the left leaning masses that rise up every shooting screaming to take away their guns, and like I said, the next time the left doesnt go way past common sense when trying to run a situation... it will be the first. the constant over reaction and in many cases just plain fabrications of facts has led many in the middle and right to completely disregard anything the left wants to accomplish simply because they have proven to many times that they cant be trusted, on guns or about anything else that needs our govts attention.

I agree, let's get guns in the hands of everyone. Since there are so many out there at this point, we should all be armed. Whites, blacks, other minorities, rural, inner city. I mean there are enough guns in America today for each of us to have one. We are ultimately going to get there, why not just speed up the process and get this NRA hard on (if they can still get one) up and over with.
I mean this did happen in the 60s/70s and somehow conservatives started pushing for more gun control with the Milford Act. . . don't know why that would be.
