#Vikings QB Sean Mannion's contract comes in as expected. Mind numbing. One year for $1.2725 million with $277,200 guaranteed. Cap number is $1.038 million using veteran minimum salary benefit.

Meanwhile because Josh Allen appreciates Matt Barkley helping him in the film room and sidelines the Bills brought Barkley back after not having him last season. Specifically because Allen wanted it. If a QB his caliber sees the value in someone in that role it doesn't really strike me as crazy as some of you are making it out to be. In 4 seasons as the second or third string QB Barkley will have made $5.6 million, because Allen wants it.

I know it doesn't fit the narrative, because you know, any thinly veiled attempt to shit on Cousins must be taken. But it's pretty much the norm to have a QB on the roster that serves the role of the Barkley's and Mannion's. This is the very reason so many scrubs manage to stick around.  Opening kickoff is 171 days away, take a breath, if Mannion is the backup opening day then throw the hissy fits. Until then there seems to be more valid things to continue to harp on.
