I am the biggest dove you’ll ever meet. If war breaksout and its with a NATO country then we should because we signed on to participate.

However, from this poll, maybe some of those +$200k people should sign up to fight rather the saddle the responsibility onto the folks in the military

No doubt!!!  Fantastic song.

These folks who are fast to war better be signing up or signing up the kids or grandkids for the front lines.
I once did a list of the top 10 songs in history. This was in the top three, along with Gimme Shelter by the Stones and What's Goin On by Marvin Gaye.
Over the years, I have a growing appreciation of Sympathy for the Devil

You can put Moonlight Mile and I'm Just Waiting on a Friend on that list too.

I dont know why Zelensky hasn't sent some planes flying in real low on some border towns in Russia and bomb the hell out of em

Or some special forces into those border towns and blow-up buildings

Take the fight to their country....

There are certainly questions to be asked about this conflict.

Hey Maroon & friends -

You should watch my daughters National History Day documentary on songs against the Vietnam War.  (All the songs you mention and more)

Saddest story was a Rare Earth song, “If I Die” banned from stations across this country of ours

Youtube not linking on my ipad RN ..
search Haley Hocking - look for “Harmony and Dissonance”

For thirty years my brother (USMC Colonel / Bronze Star) was sent into “harms way”
We were blessed that he returned. Although struggling with PTSD, we are so grateful he survived all of his deployments, MANY Marines under his command were not so fortunate. May they rest in peace.

Not ONE DROP of American blood is worth fighting against ANY countries geopolitics, that does not DIRECTLY affect the US.

Korea, three years and 55,0000 American lives / Countless Koreans / unknown number of Chinese.......What did we gain? The “police action” ended (loosely interpreted) where it began.
War in Southeast Asia - Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos....How did that civil war end for all our involvement?
So we help Afghanistan against the Soviets....How did that work out for us?
So we help Iraq against Iran...Yeah that worked out, didnt it?

What do I care if Sunni’s are killing Shia’s, or Kurd’s....let them kill each other.
What do I care if Russians want to kill Ukranians, Serbs.....let them kill each other.

Have we really not learned to stay the F out of countries civil wars???

Our incompetent leaders stick our loved ones into these situations, that taxpayers have to pay for, and what do we get for our trouble? Ongoing involvement for decades....
and tri- folded flags.

We need to find a soapbox so you can shout this to the masses.  A-FRICKING-MEN.
DISAGREE!

AMERICA STANDS FOR FREEDOM!

We should have sent forwardly-projected AMERICAN FIREPOWER into UKRAINE... preferably into Harms Way.  A MONTH AGO.

We have an ALL-VOLUNTEER US MILITARY!

You lily-livered  peaceniks are antithetical to the American experience.

Whatta  buncha pukes.

They volunteered to defend this country,  not the world.  I am hardly anti war,  but I am also sick of the US paying for the world's battles,  both financially as well as with American blood.

NO!!!!    They volunteered to defend the US Constitution.   ( I know, I did it)

Here's the distinction:
"They" volunteered to subject themselves to the UCMJ and civilian (political) control of the military.

And where in that document does it make the US the world's police and military?  Or does it say its the US's job to enforce peace around the world?

If the US gets involved that will pull China in,  and then we got bigger problems,  then we will have  war on 2 fronts.  Maybe its time for Europe to actually take care of themselves?

About the only American involvement would be an assassination of Putin led by the CIA,  but connect it to a non US organization, but even at that I am not convinced that whole thing over there is what we are being shown it as.

Really? I have to laugh, unless I'm misunderstanding you, this is all on Putin. What else is there besides Fox News conspiracy theories and a few nut job politicians trying to blame the Ukraine? Again, I'm really hopeful that I'm misunderstanding you. What exactly are we being 'shown' to make you think that anyway??
