Decided against tickets. Instead I will fill up my truck and buy two days worth of groceries.
Your F150 must not have the extended range tank...
I do. Although I've never put more than 30 gallons in despite being on E.

I figure one foregone ticket should about fill the tank. One for groceries.
Going to drive a 2020 today,  not exactly what I'm looking for but a lot closer than what I've been finding out there.  Hopefully the dealer has been seeing the trend downward in the used vehicle pricing and realizes that the higher fuel costs are going to hit the truck market hardest so he's flexible on his price.
Life is too short, get exactly what you want. Spoil yourself.
I havent found it yet and I've look a lot.  thing is,  this truck is likely only in my name for 4 to 5 years and it will be close to 200k mileage, so i will be looking again then anyway.  who knows....maybe i dont really want what I think I want,  maybe this is the truck for me.  We will know in a few hours... besides at todays truck prices.... this IS spoiling myself.
You might want to consider the 2.7 liter V-6. My 2018 had one. Not nearly as quick, but it will get you there. Was getting 28+ mpg on my trips between Carolina and Florida.
i am concerned about the towing with that,  I have a 30' camper as well as a 20' stock trailer and I dont want to be short of power when I am trying to get up a hill or down the road into a head wind.  If I was just using it as a passenger vehicle that would likely be my choice,  but I think lacking the HP and Torque while towing would piss me off.
In that case, definitely go with the 3.5 with the tow package. You could take it to Ukraine and tow tanks.

I've been looking at 2018 Supercrew F150s with this engine off and on for 6-8 months and prices just keep creeping higher up. Sad! Family has outgrown the old Accord but heck if that thing just keeps on chugging, knock on wood. So I've just been waiting for prices to at least stabilize. @JustinTime18™ did you like the truck?

I really did. The 2018 XLT I had lacked some creature comforts, otherwise I'd still be driving it.

Greenville is a great up and coming place.  A lot of industrial development in the region has pushed a lot of its growth.  My mentor was the lead for the development of BMW's North American HQ in Greenville, and a close friend did the landfill methane extraction generation program to provide power.

Whenever I'm in Asheville, I make it a point to go down and meet some friends in Greenville.
The next time you come to Greenville, let me know. Maybe we could have a drink and talk Vikings football.

Good to hear! I’d be stretching for a Lariat and can’t afford a King Ranch even though they look awesome. I don’t like carrying monthly payments on stuff so looking to mostly pay cash for an XLT. Just hunting to find the right one. Really glad to hear you liked it.

That's an excellent price. I have a feeling you did even better. I'll assume those are new tires. When you had them fill up the 36 gallon tank did the value go up.

Seriously nice price! I’m looking at 2018s with 50K miles for 35K+ so you got a nice deal. Hope they didn’t gauge you on the Truecoat.

Truck looks sweet. Wish I wasn’t putting 2 kids through daycare right now haha.

Lol,   I had them hang onto it and give it a full service and detail.   The thing looked immaculate but it hadn't been touched yet.  It was just traded in 2 days ago and the owner if the dealership had been driving it,  I think I did ok on the price,  at least I didn't pay more than my target price.

This is what you get after you've put 2 through college and paid for 1 wedding.
