Russia Russia Russia to war or not to war

What's interesting is how some on the far right politically (and in media) are supporting something so far left as communist expansion - russia expansion into Ukraine.

What's up is down, whats down is up...

I think some are just plain confused lol!

@SBun is spot on, if we cant unite against something like this? Then I dont know what kind of future we have together as a union.
i dont think its a matter of people not uniting against communist aggression,  but enough of the ignoring the rest of the bull shit going on.  Where was this fear of communism when certain athletes were promoting it in their social stances?  I heard plenty of people calling them out for it,  but plenty of others defending their stance.  How about the war against China, another communist nation that has waged other types of war to strengthen their hold around the world,  where was the support for stopping communist aggression then?  the narrative needs to quit changing depending on the who and the where.  if its  bad then it needs to be bad all the time,  not just when it suits a purpose.

by the way, I am personally angry and concerned as much as anybody that this is taking place,  just as I was in 2014 when they went into Crimea.  Putin is as major thread to the world and my position on him and his regime has not changed since he was the PM of Russia back when Obama was in office.  Mostly I am scared, scared that we will once again play the pussy sanction card and try and wait him out,  all those do is give the aggressor a free pass to continue doing what ever they are doing and in the end they make small concessions to get sanctions lifted,  after they have taken what they wanted.  And the sanctions only really hurt the citizens of those countries,  those in charge and those profiting from the aggression rarely feel the affects.

Hilarious. This isn't Hilary's fault. It isn't Biden's fault. It isn't Trump's fault. Or Bush. It's Putin's fault. He's nuts. When did we start blaming others for what a dictator like Putin does? He's been after the Ukraine forever. This was coming regardless.

If our country can't unite behind a common dislike of Putin, we are beyond fucked.
It's worse than not being able to unite against Putin. Many in the cult actually support Putin in this.

Think about that. Support the dictator against the sovereign democracy.
Could you could point me in the direction of a poll or something showing this?  I know of no one regardless of politicals that supports the Ukranian invasion.
See above.

Russians aren't woke (they have only 2 genders) and questioning why we hate Russia is some sort of support for the invasion of the Ukraine?  There's a MASSIVE canyon between agreeing with some policies and supporting the invasion of a sovereign democracy.

Hell, I think there's only 2 genders (inies or outies) and have certainly read up on the tension between the US and Russia especially since Putin came to power in post ussr.  I even listened to Putin's speech.  Does that make me a Putin supporter?

Back to the point of the question.  "Many in the cult actually support Putin in this".  To get to many you've got to have a either a large number or majority per the Oxford dictionary.  You've supplied 2 dipshits on youtube.  Before you make up bullshit on the internet show a source.  How did you arrive at many?  Are there currently small pecker, big truck rednecks with Russian flags flying off the back?  Are there pro Russia demonstrations in the USA happening?  Or is opposition radio/tv/internet just spouting off the exact opposite of whatever Biden does because that's what opposition radio/tv/internet does?

Which cult is that?  The one that laughed at Palin when she talked about Russia as a threat over 10 years ago?  Or the one that has  made excuses for the left elites handling of affairs with Russia to date?  You are just as much a part of a cult as any Trump supporter.  Want to unite unite America,  start including this elites that are criminals and using their clout politically to line their own pockets right along with Putin.   He is just the face of oppression and aggression right now but there are plenty in our own country that are just as dangerous to our future....but we ignore them since they wear the right color tie or pants suit.
The one you're in. And I don't wear pant suits.
Right... keep telling yourself its the other guy,  its always the other guy.   makes you sound more and more like Trump every time.

And history repeats itself.

Look up Sudentland 1938....Google "peace in our time"

Germany claimed territories in Czechoslovakia were sovereign Germany, part of the motherland...

Hitler marches into Czechoslovakia and nobody says boo, except for Neville Chamberlain who claimed peace

Emboldened by British/French/American isolationism and in-action, Hitler invades Poland one year later. And the planet is plunged into a world war

This is very simple; Ukraine is a US and western ally just invaded by Russia and Putin. The Ukraine we know is now being annexed.

Trump would have called that a 'genius move' by Hitler. They would have been tight.

its amazing that the only time I see shit like Maroon posts is from Maroon and others like him.  Half the time I dont even know who the people are that he is using to support his position against what he thinks is the postion of those that think he is full of shit.

everyone needs to shut off the MSM and the sound bite machines and start using their own eyes and minds on this shit.  we are where we are because of many people that once again will get a pass in their involvements with shit that kills people and ruins lives all over the world.
No doubt. I've actually done a lot of self reflection with all this happening.

How lucky do we have it to have won the birthplace lottery.  We have houses with heat, computers/phones that can answer any question in seconds.  Most of us have vehicles that can travel anywhere at anytime.  We have money in the bank account.
We don't have missiles cruising over our heads. Bombs going off.  Fear for loved ones.  Grandparents getting called back up by the government to fight.  The list is long and ridiculous.

Nice post...This is a great time for self-reflection and remind ourselves of what we should/can be grateful for. Its also a time for us to set aside our differences and unite when we see aggression ala Russia today.

This is all I'm asking.....and a little dumbfounded that we can't all agree on that. Instead, we get 'if Trump were in office' or 'the timing is suspicious'. Its like, c'mon now. Good lord.

all Im asking is for the hypocrisy to get called out... he is doing what he is doing because of people here in the US that have paved the way for him.   Right now its in Russia,  but when do we realize that those that have allowed him to get to this point have controls in the US and why would they allow it in the Ukraine if they didnt think it served a purpose in the US?  How is what he is doing over there helping these people and what will they do with these gains?  I doubt its just for profit.

LOL,  sit and white wash the Clintons, Obamas, etc involvement and then think people are going to unite because you think we should?  the Ukraine is just the face of a much larger problem,  want to unite,  lets quite pretending that shit is just fine here and that what we are dealing with here isnt some how some way related to what is taking place over there.  Or just stick your head in the sand and be dumbfounded.

Putin has stated on record in the past that his goal was to restore the USSR,  this isnt going to stop in the Ukraine,  and once they get rolling,  I doubt they stop with the former Soviet Union boundaries.  This is the shit that Palin was mocked for bringing up years ago.  Maybe we should have united then?
