Vikings update: The Vikings have interviewed all eight candidates listed in the table and could move from virtual to in-person meetings next. Five of the eight candidates are not yet 42 years old. None is older than 43 (Monti Ossenfort). The group averages about 38 years old. The Vikings are also considering head coaching candidates, including DeMeco Ryans, Nathaniel Hackett, Raheem Morris, Todd Bowles and Kellen Moore. Minnesota has not sought a new GM since hiring Rick Spielman in 2006 and formally giving him the title in 2012.

I really like Ryans out of that group of coaching candidates.  GM, I like Mensah.  Now whether those two pieces fit together??  Who knows?  Will either pan out?  Who knows?  lol

I'm not sure I want a pure analytics type for GM. I think I would look for a great track record in the scouting and personnel department for GM, then hire a an analytics expert as assistant GM.

We're all throwing darts.  You can always augment the GM's potential weak spot with especially strong support in the scouting and personnel areas.
