This vax bullshit is fucking up our board…
Yeah it's kind of fucking up everything. I need to change the channel from the Vikings for a bit.
And this is supposed to be the season of joy and hope for football fans...I don't blame us fans, we're emotionally and financially tied to the team.

1/3 of that roster (supposedly) doesnt give a s hit about each other or the fans.

I've been a season tix holder back to the Moon days, not sure anymore.

That's exactly what I've been feeling through this. I haven't been a season ticket holder nearly as long as you have. But I added 2 seats this year and now have 4. I hope that others on the team move that number up from 64%. I expect the team to have to deal with the unexpected and I hope they all stay healthy. But I am not looking forward to a season possibly marred by 'controllables'.
The so-called "controllables" are quickly becoming uncontrollables as it is evident that the vaccines cannot and do not stop the delta variant.  Just my opinion.   Anybody that thinks life is returning back to "normal" any time soon is a little more optimistic than me.  I think we have went through the worst, but this think will bleed for some time to come.
I am not so sure about this.   I was listening to npr or something on the  radio the other day and this scientist was talking about all the different viruses in the past and pointed out that they were more deadly the second time through the population.  the mutated virus killed more than the first wave,  now most of that was likely pre vaccinations and modern medicine,  but from what we are hearing on this variant,  i do have to question if we truly are past the worst,  or if our attempts at a vaccine are only ramping up the likelihood of a super mutation that is beyond our technical and medical abilities.

either way,  I have a feeling that fans at the games will likely be pulled before the first games if things continue to progress as they are with the outbreak of delta.

Yep, Lambda looks like it may be really vaccine resitant.  And agree about fan attendance.

Jeez.
GB was 13-3 the past 2 years for a reason. We were 7-9 last year. The Vikings have a steep uphill climb and need all the help they can get if they want to make a run at the division. It's why a lot of fans, including myself, are disappointed that 35% of the team is handicapping us. Whether you agree with the rules the NFL has in place or not, the fact is we're at a disadvantage versus teams who are 90+% vaxxed. So it's a bummer.

I'm not trying to stomp on anyone's civil liberties or preach, I'm just a guy trying to watch the Vikings win football games.

I have heard this argument as well, and I'm kind of hoping you're not right, but not saying that you are not.  If that makes sense.  Smile  The vaccine creating stronger resistances is definitely a concern at this point in time.  Part of the reason for this is almost certainly as a result of what happened in that little lab in Wuhan.

Okay so whats next, a time machine so we could/can invade China?  It's not the Vaccines that are creating the variants, really is that what you think?

So between you and me, there's 8 seats. 8 PSL's, lots of $$$. Nobody is holding a gun to our heads, our choice.

BUT....Do you think we'll see a dime back if the Vikings have to forfeit 3 games? 1? 5?

Zygi may be thinking else wise

That's why I sold off some of my tickets for games this season. Things are going to get worse before it gets better.

Nah I really want to win that one but we'll have to wait and see how it goes. I want to get back to road trips but I don't think this is the time for it unfortunately.

I think the mutations are inevitable until they find a way to kill the virus instead of just tickle it like the current vaccines are doing.  I could be wrong but I feel that even if we had 90% or more that we would have still seen mutations that would reset the cycle.  Look at the variations that are happening now,   they didnt come from the US,  and are escaping countries that only allow vaccinated foreigners to visit in some cases.  Many said it last spring,   this will be just like the flu where you will need a annual ( or more) booster and hopefully they guess right.
