Hmmm....I see some purple tinted shades

Last 13 years of Viking Head Coaches - Childress, Frazier and Zimmer

Last 13 years of Steelers Head Coaches - Tomlin

I rest my case Smile  only kidding

But I hardly think JuJu or the insane Brown are an indictment on Tomlin's class as a person.  Do we blame the HC's for the antics of Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, and a long list of prima donna WR's?  Do we blame Zimmer for the immature (like JuJu - IMO) antics of Digg's?  Do we blame Zimmer for the brush up that both Theilan and Diggs had with Cousins a few seasons ago?  Do we blame Zimmer for the hot mic of rookie JJeff bitch*** about Cousins last week?

But his weekly tradition of recording a scripted pregame dance segment on the opponent's midfield logo

That is from the CBS article I had read. If he is doing this weekly, then yes, I would also put this on Tomlin.

I don't know that anyone is questioning Tomlin's "class", rather his (and the organization's) inordinate amount of tolerance for the antics of Brown, Bell, Burress, Schuster etc.

I think it says a lot about Tomlin.  I just can't think of any head coach who would allow this moron to pump up the opposing defense each game by doing such a low class, self promoting stunt.  It makes me think that Tomlin is not far behind JuJu in the class department.
Really, you make JuJu's antics an indictment on Tomlin and 13 years as a HC and 25 years in coaching?  I don't.  But agree, JuJu is learning a lesson in humility Smile
Could you imagine Schuster doing that with Cowher coaching?  I think Cowher would have ran onto the field and have hit him harder than Bell did!  I am not questioning his coaching ability, but I sure have to question his ethics and class, from Tomlin's sideline incident to Brown, Bell and now Schuster it is a very questionable tenure.

Tomlin's 14 years:
11 winning seasons
0 losing seasons
3 8-8 seasons
6 division titles
9 playoff appearances
8-7 playoff record
2 Super Bowl appearances
1 Super Bowl championship
144-77-1, 65.1% regular season

Compare to Zimmer...I don't need to. Really don't give a damn about anyone's notions about whether he has class or whatever. Steelers coach can win consistently, ours cannot.

One might point to something that Tomlin has had that Zimmer hasn't. A stud QB.  The same QB, year in and year out.

tomlin has proven to be as much of a classless punk as many of his players have proven to be.

Yeah, gotta agree here. Kinda neutral on Zimmer, but I don't get the Tomlin hate. He's a helluva coach. In the running AGAIN for coach of the year. You just can't argue with the kind of success he's had. Year in, year out.

its not about his coaching ability its his antics on the sideline over the years.  the tripping incident being the biggest, but IIRC hes been shown to mock injured opposing players and other poor behavior over the years.

I am just being honest with myself and not trying to convince others but I would have liked Tomlin as our head coach 14 years ago.  I also think the little antics by him and some of his players if he was the Vikings coach and players I would not even think twice about them.  I think you can look for and find these little things about any coach if you want to.  I still don't see the reason for "dislike" of Tomlin but I admit I think their might be a "scourned" factor going on.
