That sounds like an absurd expectation for a forum titled "sensitive topics." I dig it. I like reading it and commenting on it, especially during the offseason. If the only justification for a forum were to "bring people together," Facebook and Twitter would've been dissolved years ago.

nobody argues about netflix so those are fine,  just the hot button shit that isnt football would be off limits... and unfortunately IIRC there is a decency policy by the site hosts that prevent those types of threads,  and the fact that a lot of those pics are not supposed to be shared or we could get sued.

well absurd or not,  there was a time when that took place on this site without the shit we see today,  so in an effort to try and appease as many as we could the board was created and allowed to run for a few years,  its apparent that the dynamics of the board have changed to much for that type of exchange to still take place so here we are.  Lucky for those that are looking for that type of environment that Twitter and Facebook are still there for their viewing pleasure.

OTs can still be posted in the Longship forum, that's always been allowed.  Just no politics or religion once it was decided to move those into the Sensitive Topics forum.

Since we did not have much of policy to talk about the last four years, all we focused on was direction of the country. maybe we wait another four years and see if anything changes.... :-)

Start with what's the mission of the forum and everything cascades from there...

Is this a forum for community or just football? There's your answer to what to do with Sensitive Topics Board. 

Rather than neuter the Sensitive Topics Forum, this site should now do technically what should have been done from the get-go;

Make the default view when logging in The Longship, NOT Recent Conversations.
