No, this is not a "deep in the playoffs" kind of team, but the NFC is ridiculously bad this year. In my opinion, there are only two teams in the NFL who have played consistently good football (Chiefs and Steelers) and they play in the other conference.

Packers can beat anyone but the Vikings beat them and they got blown out by the Bucs, who lost to the Bears and were blown out by the Saints, who were taken to OT by the Bears and beaten soundly by the Raiders. There is no 2019 49ers team this year.

Either way...I'm just happy to be watching meaningful football again.

A better question would be how will I feel if they can't beat doormats like Andy Dalton's Cowboys... and the Jags and Panthers?

These what-if purple logic puzzles don't really matter since the eventual end result even if they somehow make a playoff slot is a faceplant loss in that spot.

I think at the end of the day: Rams, Packers, Saints, Seattle are probably the best 4 in NFC. TB and Cardinals next..Now watch Kyler Murray beat Russell and Seattle tonight...

I don't disagree but we just beat GB in their place, one play from beating Seattle in their place. We get a shot against NO in the Superdome, which is a game I believe we will win.
With that track record and an improving young team, ANYTHING can happen in the NFC this year.

The only team I do not want to face due to coaching matchups is LA. I don't like Zimmer vs McVay

3 of the last 4 on the road including Bucs and Saints. I thought this was an 8-8 team preseason and the 1-5 start made them look more like 5-11, but with the bounceback, 8-8 is still the most likely outcome.
