GOP priorities:

STILL no healthcare plan
No infrastructure plan
No federal pandemic plan
Economy in shambles
No immigration plan, nothing for DACA
No platform, no goals for 2020 election

But they can manage to get a Supreme Court justice confirmed in 6 weeks

Republicans proven beyond all doubt they are completely incapable of governing, and can only accomplish 2 things:  bitching about the Dems/media, and appointing lifetime federal judges
That's coming in a few weeks. It's going to be something terrific.

Just how much crap are people willing to swallow?
Trump could actually come out and say there is no healthcare plan, there never was, and you're morons for thinking I had a plan...and not lose any voters.

When you have Trump supporters on video saying they would still support Trump even if he told Americans to go out and **** little pigs, they're certainly not going to care about health care policy.

When Trump said he could go out on 5th Avenue and shoot someone and not lose a single supporter, he didn't just make that up. That was told to him by campaign advisors who knew that if he hooked a certain group of people--older, under-educated Americans addicted to Facebook, racists and evangelicals, he may or may not get enough votes to win, but he won't lose any of them. Ever. No matter what he did.

Is it infrastructure week yet?  I've been waiting since . . . January  . .  2017

@BigAl99, yes, he has stained the least democratic arm of our government and the most powerful.

Look you're going to get a conservative, woman justice whether you like it or not.  The Democrats cannot stop this one.  This whole handmaiden BS has already been walked back.  I guess it seems that when the Kavanaugh method doesn't work you try it again?

But just for some history so when the court is 6/3 you'll know that the Republicans were following historical precedent in 2016 and 2020.

29 times in our history there has been an open seat in an election year.  29/29 times the president has nominated someone to that seat.
10 times the potus and majority of the senate were held by different parties.  8/10 were either not voted on or rejected.
19 times the potus and majority of the senate were held by the same party.  18/19 were confirmed.  The one that was not was confirmed was Abe Fortas who was successfully filibustered by both parties in 1968. Turns out he was kinda of a jackass.

You can hand wring all day long.  You can make FB memes.  You can make stuff up about whomever the next justice is going to be but you cannot stop the inevitable.  There will be a nomination.  She/he will be confirmed by the Senate and they will take their seat when the new court opens.

You cannot stop it with an impeachment. You changed the rules to get circuit justices through without debate and a 60 vote threshold.  Mitch even warned you it was a bad idea. You didn't listen and the republicans added more dirty pool by expanding it to all justices in 2017.
You cannot stop the nomination in the Senate committee because you don't hold the votes to do so.You cannot filibuster this because of rule changes. You cannot stop this period, without talking 2 more Republicans into voting no.  In fact if the GOP can talk Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski into abstention instead of voting no it'll be even further away.

I've stated here and elsewhere, and I'm not alone.  If either of those two vote no, I will actively make contributions to their primary challenger when they're up.

LOL, the Left can be just as stupid and fear-mongering as the Right. "Handmaiden", LMFAO.

Listen, both sides of the aisle are full of self serving crooks and hypocrites. And the extreme followers of both sides are nut jobs.

You really just said that? It's a syllogistic fallacy. If Jerry Falwell was a Baptist and that's bad. Is it also bad that Martin Luther King was a Baptist? The fallacy being that being Baptist (or Catholic) is bad in the first place.

I actually like that she's Catholic. Among Evangelicals the bigger nuts tend to be on the Protestant side. Not that she's not a nut.

That is so tolerant of you.

Biden isn't really Catholic.  To be a person of a certain faith, you have to adhere to the tenets of that faith.  Or at least try.

What tenet of the faith does he not adhere to?
