It’s not racism, it’s hypocrisy at its finest.  Then again, we saw that from the same crew of Christians when the stimulus checks were going out for everyone and their kids.  At that point, the kids in womb were not deemed children therefore the mothers didn’t deserve a check for them.

Mental gymnastics must be tiring

Don't know how you arrived that Christians were saying no to stimulus checks for parents with an unborn child.  The stimulus checks are based on 2019 tax returns.  $500 stimulus checks are given for each born child within a given age range based on the 2019 return.  Parents of babies born in 2020 are eligible for a $500 tax credit on their 2020 taxes.  Makes sense, no mental gymnastics required.
It was an argument here that took place during the stimulus roll out.  It was taboo to ask about the sacred fetuses receiving a check.

Cool because poor people (Who historically haven’t paid any considerable amount in federal income tax annually) really love when they can eat/pay rent/survive with their fucking tax credit.

Yes, sounds very Christ like
Honest question: do you even know what Christ has said?  Most liberals don't.  They take some of the "stuff" that they like (usually out of context) and then make a false idol out of it... and ignore who Jesus really was and what He actually came to do.
At the bold. That must be a new one. Do you even think before posting this stuff? Let's file this under the category of "hasty generalization" so it is not deemed stupid - which very well could be a more appropriate category.
Yes, I think about it quite a bit.  It saddens me that most of the "liberals" that I know are worshipers of self, not the incarnate Christ.  Of course, most doesn't mean all.  But considering that "liberals" have taken so many positions that are the very opposite of what the Bible says... my generalization stands.

As for the "long list", how long is the list of white men killed by police?  I'll bet it's longer... even though (statistically) blacks have more violent encounters with the police than whites do.  Also, you may not be aware of this, but "unarmed" is a loaded word.  If a person is using anything other than a gun, that is categorized (by some) as being "unarmed".  So, if a person were to attack the police with a bat... or a car... they would still be considered "unarmed".  That should probably be part of this discussion, if you're going to try to make the case that blacks are being gunned down by police for no other reason than "the police are racists".

You really are a piece of work.
If you read your Bible, Jeremiah wasn't real popular.  In fact, most of the OT prophets weren't: because they refused to approve of what the people of Israel (or Judah) were doing.  You don't like what I have to say about theological matters- but it's not because I'm wrong.  It's because you would prefer to be right in your own eyes than in the eyes of God.

You're being nice. I could honestly go on for pages on this topic. But what difference would it make? And besides Gandhi already summed up what I would say in just a few words...

"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
And I'd say that- based on our interactions here- you have the same amount of faith in Christ as Ghandi did.  If that's what you were shooting for, congratulations.  Unfortunately, Christ- Himself- said that no one can come to the Father except through Him.  Saved by grace through faith, you know... and all that other doctrinal stuff that you (and Ghandi) find offensive.

Curious why you put "liberals" in quotes. But you're right. I am I liberal and I do have to admit that I worship myself more that Christ. LOL. Speaking of positions opposite of what the Bible says,  do you think there might be some scripture that you and other Trumpists might be ignoring? Bonus points if you can name them. Go!

media blackout.  I don't think it was racial but still should have raised a few headlines.
Floyd's death wasn't racial, either.  It was just an example of a cop being dumb (or, if you prefer, evil).
And how do you know it wasn’t racially motivated?

Ignorant assumption to say the least.
Because there was nothing in the cop's behavior that would lead ANYONE to assume that it was racial.  The only way that it COULD be considered racist is if there was something about it that indicated that it was.  There wasn't.  Hence, it wasn't racial.  Kind of like if a sponge has no water in it, it would not be an "ignorant assumption" that it is dry.

Do you always assume that everything is racial?  Oh wait, you're a liberal.  Nevermind... I already know the answer.

There was nothing in the PREVIOUS 17 COMPLAINTS OF MISCONDUCT that suggested his motivations?  You’re not curious how many involved people of color to see if there was a pattern to his behavior?

That’s fucking beyond naive, if not willfully ignorant.  Oh that’s right, play the “liberals accuse everyone of racism” card like the lazy conservative excuse for refusing to recognize ANY racism.

Simple question you have avoided previously:

The 4 white cops who beat Rodney King to a pulp in LA in the 90s - racially motivated, yes or no?

At the bold... I am sure you can find that info if you really cared. However, consider this....
  1. Black or African American alone: 16%
  2. White alone, not Hispanic or Latino: 60%
So I am not sure what you are getting at

Quote:Population of the US: 328 million
People shot by Cops (using percentages above)
Whites (197,128,000 of population):
2017: 4572018: 3992019: 3702020: 215
Total whites killed by cops in four years: 1441
0.00010% (215/197,128,000 * 100) of white population was killed by cops in 2020
Blacks (52,480,000 of population)
2017: 2232018: 2092019: 2352020: 111
Total blacks killed by cops in four years: 778.
0.0002% (111/52,480,000 * 100) of black population was killed by cops in 2020

Race population breakdown: census.gov
Police shootings by race: statista.com

I'll end with this quote from statista.com again...
Quote:Sadly, the trend of fatal police shootings in the United States seems to only be increasing, with a total 558 civilians having been shot, 111 of whom were Black, as of July 29, 2020. In 2018, there were 996 fatal police shootings, and in 2019 this figure increased to 1,004. Additionally, the rate of fatal police shootings among Black Americans was much higher than that for any other ethnicity, standing at 31 fatal shootings per million of the population as of July 2020.

Based on your history of comments here I am shocked that the irony and ego of that statement doesn’t cause you to burst into flame, considering how little you care of most humans outside of the womb.

lol, I love how the left condemns the Christians for un-Christ-like behavior while going on nasty lie filled diatribes.  Makes sense I guess.  Worship the self and you will never be wrong.

So now we are going to go at any length to make this a thread about Christianity now huh? I never knew the left condemned or hated Christians. I guess God is also a Republican then. Any non Republican (in this case the left) be damned.
Why discuss the issue raised on the thread when we can just make up a new one and run with that?
