Not Nazism, Socialism. Someone should remind this lovely couple and their tub of cheese balls that America, pre-Biden, with its public schools, libraries, parks, roads, social security, medicaid, public transportation, CDC, etc...is already much closer to socialism than Hitler, who was absolutely NOT a socialist and merely USED the term to attract support among the common people. 

The fact is that many people that claim to hate socialism would have died many times over without the social programs we have in this country. They just don't realize how much they depend on it. 

I'd like to see the numbers to back that up.
Take away the bull shit taxes to support those that should support themselves and show me who fails without big govt.  Give it a few generations to erase the govt dependence that's been indoctrinated since welfare inception and you will see a different America imo.

I can only guess that you are going to reject Medicare/Medicaid, social security benefits, and of course you tore up that $1200 check and threw it away, right?


How do you expect retirees to afford private insurance without being on an employer plan?  You think everyone has set aside a few thousand a month per person JUST for healthcare?  Are they lazy entitled government dependents too?


But I get it, there’s a lot of GOP who assumes socialism = welfare.

Just to be clear, all but the stimulus check that you listed are funded directly by working. Since my wife and I are self employed the .gov demands 15.3% of our income to fund those programs. Neither of us will ever see those dollars back making them essentially useless to us.

You beat me to it. It's amazing that liberals always go right to those programs when they try and box a conservative on the govt programs debate.

It's pretty simple,  if only those that paid in got the benefits it wouldn't be a problem for any program but we are on tilt federally and will soon be financially tipping over from the costs of our under funded programs like many liberally ran states.

yellow freight is a shit company ( we call them week and a day, because it takes 8 days to get a shipment on YRC no matter how far its coming from )  but I will say that losing them would be a big hit on an already stretched thin segment of our economy and that is the shipping industry.  its getting tougher and tougher and more expensive all the time to move product by truck in the US.  and the quality of drivers is going to shit.  if we lose a giant like YRC it would create a serious gap and likely be felt in the economy.

It is absolutely ridiculous. Obviously the school district doesn't want people to see what is actually happening but the students need to be safe. The superintendent sounds like a moron with that statement.
