thats been my position from day one on this, no politics at all, just that Americans are to used to their freedoms to follow guidelines and mandates, I said back in Feb that it was going to be way worse in the US and it has zero to do with politics.

just got off the phone with our Minnesota salesman who lives in a north west suburb of the cities, he paints an entirely different picture of non compliance. apparently there is another loophole that says you dont have to wear them in fitness facilities? so he was pissed about that and then listed about 5 other businesses he went into this weekend and saw very few masks, asked a clerk at a grocery store whats up and her response was they are told not to bother the customers...

You have to wear a mask INTO the gym facility in Florida, they take your temp with the handheld device at the front desk on your forehead and you go in......and then can take off the mask and work out. Then you put the mask BACK on when you walk OUT the door. Make any sense? Of course not. I've been going to the gym for almost 2 months now and that's the protocol. I see that Planet Fitness today is mandating that members wear masks at all their locations at all times, which is new.

he just said he wore his in and nobody else except employees were wearing them, others that came in wearing them looked around and saw nobody else complying so they took theirs off as well. He didnt mention anything about temps being taken, just that he wore his through his workout and didnt see the issue.

They said Biden would bring socialism and it would be like living in Nazi Germany. I can only assume they were furious about their $1200 government checks and refused to cash them and opted out of Medicare and social security.
The problem is that not only do they have no fucking clue what socialism actually means, but evidently they skipped 9th grade history too. Nazis were fascists, just like Italy under Mussolini, which is the far right political spectrum and the complete opposite of socialism, the left. The Nazis killed the socialists in Germany and fought against Russia, the real communists/socialists. Yet millions of braindead seem convinced Nazis were socialists because of their name.
This is why I am in complete favor of a fucking IQ test before allowing uneducated, brainwashed morons a vote in the country’s future. I’d rather give tax-paying illegal immigrants a damn vote before ignorant rightwing retireees who can’t understand right from left.
